Join the Curtis Crescendo Club for a special talk prior to the Curtis Opera Theatre's fall production of Igor Stravinsky's The Rake's Progress on November 20 at 6:30 p.m. This pre-opera conversation with Emma Griffin, stage director for The Rake’s Progress, and Mikael Eliasen, artistic director of the Curtis Opera Theatre, will be held prior to curtain. Learn more about Curtis's production and the opera itself, inspired by the paintings of 18th century English artist, William Hogarth.
Curtis joins opera producing organizations nationwide with this special event in honor of National Opera Week (November 13-22) and sponsored by the Crescendo Club, a group of young friends of the Curtis Institute of Music. Cash bar; call 267-238-5265 for more information.
